Yeah! It shows up sometimes. We thought it was a bunch of different ones at first, but I think it's just some shape-shifter cat instead. Or there's some tiny door and we've got a colony of cats that've all agreed to take turns, who knows.

[ A light shrug for a silly thought. She walks around aimlessly, peers at the shelves. ]

They should have some stuff! I don't know about a chili dog, though. Teddie usually brings over snacks to store for a while. [ As for the previous question, ] I want... chocolate cake.

I don't really get to use it much here? [ except for cough sex cough ] I've used them to make gifts for some people, though. They're always so amazed when I tell them what they're made of. Do you want anything?

[Shadow dildos? Why's that the first thing on his mind as he winds back through the corridors, glancing back ever so often to her weirdly ghibli coded shadow-being.]

Do you feel anything when someone touches them or- anything?

Anything, pretty much? As long as it's all physical. So like, I can make something that looks just like a TV, but my shadows can't make any of the stuff that makes it actually work like a TV. Or even like one of those flashlights I used to carry around - I can make the whole thing, but not the parts that produce light. And so on and so on.

[ But yes, shadow dildo. ]

Nope, I don't. I've used them enough to be pretty aware of what they're doing and how they're interacting with stuff, but... if you break one, it's not gonna hurt me. Unless you break it while I'm inside it, anyway.

They're not alive or anything. They can't move on their own unless I make them. It's a bit like I'm ordering them in my head, or just putting down some telepathic-programming so they do what I need them to. Easier to command a bunch at once that way.

And by inside it, you mean like. Manipulating it?

[He's thinking thinky thoughts and most of them are still dirty but there are a few average ones in there, ones about learning his not-sister's powers. The extent they can go to and perhaps the problems they might face in case he ever needs to help.]

[ She stretches out one arm, shadow layering around it like a living, growing glove. It stops at her shoulder, kept on in case Devon wants to touch and remind himself what it's like. ]

[She knows him well. He grabby-hands before moving over to feel it, stroking it while looking up to her to see if and how she experiences that.]

[ She seems to not have much of a reaction, save for the fact that Devon's very intently feeling her arm. Her shadows. ]

… someone did this ritual that caused an earthquake. Summoned a hellhound, and I thought I could fight it off when I crossed its path, but then its teeth like — melted through my shadows or something? I just remember it biting down on my shoulder until it popped. I got a bunch of burns, too. [ pause. ] There was nothing I could do. It's kind of amazing that I didn't die.
