[Which is it's own like, weird issue but all the same Theo's still in Sad Mode.]

[ Not like Theo did something wrong, just. It sounds like something that would've hurt him in the end. She knows how much love he has to give. Knows what's happened in the past when someone tried to limit that. ]

I'm sorry. Sounds like he's got his own issues, Teddie. [ And like nothing would be enough. ] It's not on you. You know that, right?

[Said softly, but he's still not sure.]

I think everything you could do was good. Because I know you, and you're amazing at love, and you'd do anything to make us happy.

[Theo isn't crying but there's a weariness, a certain kind of wet sadness to his voice.]

[ Oh, she hates to hear it. She hates that she can't have her arms around him more. ]

That's so weird. I wish he'd communicated more… that isn't fair for you. Are you staying with Iggy?

[ Fidgeting a little with her free hand. If Theo wanted her there he'd say something, but she still wonders. She typically doesn't like that he's out there feeling like that, but she trusts their friend to take care of him. ]

Tell him to hug you a ton.

I came to cry on him a little.

[He admits, openly - pausing before adding:]

Ugly cry. It's embarrassing.

[He trusts Cellar more than anyone in the world. Believes her to be the most perfect thing to exist in it. Which is why it's so hard to be this vulnerable and ugly in front of her, it just makes him feel unworthy. Apparently he's got a whole complex about being undesirable to the people he desires, a fear rooted just as deeply in his past as his aversion to breath play.

Softly, and speaking more to the whole situation again - murmuring under his breath:]

God, I'm so embarrassed.
